Hello everyone!
The Mobile Water School has returned to the north of Benin during the month of August 2024.
Most of the participating students were already in the 1st course in February 2024, and together with some new attendees, in these 4 weeks of August they have made progress in perfecting and mastering the different EMAS techniques shown during this month of work.
In this course we have achieved:
💧 Consolidation of the drilling technique in soils with mica mineral.
💧 Manual drilling of several wells for Peulh ethnic families in Ouennou.
💧 Construction of an underground cistern with a capacity of 6,000 liters at the Parakou boarding school.
💧 Construction of shower, bathroom and sink services.
💧 Construction of 4 complete drilling rigs, with transportation cart included, also preparing the material for 3 additional rigs that the technicians will build autonomously.
As usual, theoretical classes have been held to consolidate the knowledge learned in practice.
We have high expectations for this group of technicians, who have already begun to serve their communities by drilling new wells during the first days of September. If all goes well, we plan to visit them again during 2025 to strengthen knowledge, relationships and resolve doubts that may arise during their work in these coming months.
We attach a video with some images of what was done. Once again, thank you very much for your support.
